Workgroup Administrator (Setup before first use)

Note to Registered users: You are e-mailed a new workgroup file that will be identified as Home Prospector Registered Security (with your user first and last name).MDW. Use the below proceedure to install it in the workgroup administrator.

Select from the Start menu Programs|Home Prospector|Workgroup Administrator (Setup before first use).

If you have already installed Microsoft(C) Access 2000 installed, as you must to run Home Prospector 2001 the Workgroup file selected will probably be the default file SYSTEM. MDW as in above. Which gives you no access to Home Prospector 2001.

To gain access to Home Prospector 2001 you must select Join which pops up the Workgroup Information File selector box.

Then select Browse... Look in the default install location for the Home Prospector 2001 workgroup security file C:\Program Files\Home Prospector\Application\Home Prospector Shareware Security.MDW

Select Open which will bring back up the Workgroup Information File with the file C:\Program Files\Home Prospector\Application\Home Prospector Shareware Security.MDW entered in the Database window.

Select OK which brings up a confirmation box Workgroup Administrator stating: You have successfully joined the workgroup defined by the workgroup information file C:\Program Files\Home Prospector\Application\Home Prospector Shareware Security.MDW

Select OK again which will finally bring back up the Workgroup Administrator. You are now finished installing the workgroup security file. Select Exit.
